What is copper?

How much per day?
EFSA recommends 1.3 mg/day for adult women and 1.6 mg for men. The upper limit is 5 mg. High zinc supplements or stress can deplete copper stores — dietary surveys show that many individuals consume less than the recommended amount.
What is the difference between the copper forms?

Is copper dangerous in high doses?
Acute overdose from diet is uncommon. The body excretes excess via bile when ceruloplasmin is functioning properly — which requires retinol from liver or cod liver oil.
