Seeking Health – Dr. Ben Lynch's range for methylation and MTHFR
Seeking Health was founded by Dr. Ben Lynch, physician and author of "Dirty Genes". The range is aimed at individuals with MTHFR variants and other genetic polymorphisms that affect the methylation cycle – where active, methylated vitamin forms are needed.
The entire range is formulated with active forms – folinic acid or methylfolate instead of folic acid, methylcobalamin or adenosylcobalamin instead of cyanocobalamin, P-5-P instead of B6. For the approximately 40% who have MTHFR variants, this can make a significant difference. The products are also free from unnecessary fillers and adapted for sensitive individuals.
Frequently asked questions
What is MTHFR?
A gene variant that affects the ability to convert folic acid to its active folate form. Active forms bypass this problem.
What is Adeno-B12?
Adenosylcobalamin – the mitochondrially active form of B12. Complements methyl-B12, which works in the cytoplasm.
HistaminX or regular ProBiota?
HistaminX for histamine intolerance or MCAS. Regular ProBiota Bifido for broader gut support.
